To search the directory, choose any of the search parameters and click on the Search button to begin searching. Use as many of the parameters as you wish.

Term: Lets you choose which grading period you wish to search.

Subject: Select a subject abbreviation in this field. A list of subjects may be found under the "Course Subjects" link, located under the Related Links section on the right sidebar.

Number: Enter the course number you wish to search. You need to enter leading zeroes. For example: 006 or 032 or 032B.

Old Number/New Number: In Fall 2006, the University will move to a new course numbering scheme. You will register for the summer using the old numbers. You will use the new numbers starting with registration for the fall semester. Instructor's Last Name: Enter the last name of the instructor you want to search for.

Course Title: Enter a word included in the title of the course. Some courses my have abbreviations instead of full words in their titles.

Perspective Requirements: Choose an option in either field to search for a course that meets a General College or Arts and Sciences requirements.

Type of Course: Select a course category to search by.

Course Level: Select a level of course number to search by.

Section Availability: Select the status of a section to search by. This statistic is updated daily.

Enrollment Size Limit: Search for a class by its enrollment limit.

Course Credit Value: Search for a course credit value, or search for a course that has variable credit.

Location: Choose to search for an in classroom or internet course.

Day of the Week: Choose a schedule pattern to search by.

Starting Time: Select a course starting time to search by. The course does not necessarily occur within the time specified, it begins within the time parameter.

Continue Searching: The search engine automatically stops and returns results when the number you entered (default number is 20) matches are found. Click the like of next page to resume the search where you left off.
